BDB Microfinancing launched a new loan programme with guarantee cover under the InvestEU Programme, aimed at Bulgarian micro-enterprises. It aims to encourage entrepreneurship, the creation of new businesses and the development of new business activities. Financing is on alleviated conditions, the fees being preferential and the security being a personal guarantee.

Target Groups
Micro and start-up enterprises within the meaning of Article 3 and Article 4 of the Law for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, which are registered and operating in the country and:
✔ are not in bankruptcy or bankruptcy proceedings;
✔ do not have a significant share (more than 5%) of their activities in one or more Restricted Sectors – tobacco and alcohol production and trade, gambling, human cloning, production and trade with weapons;
✔ comply with the national legislation and are not engaged in illegal activities.
